Call for Artists: Pop-Up Art Show
We are thrilled to announce an open call for our upcoming pop-up art show aimed at
discovering and showcasing emerging artists. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a
vibrant event that celebrates creativity and innovation in the art world.

Objectives and Goals:
Our goal is to select 60 diverse artworks that reflect the theme “Resilience and Renewal.” We
aim to create a space where artists can gain exposure and connect with a wider audience.
Timeline and Deadlines:

• Launch Date: May 9, 2025
• Submission Deadline: September 30, 2024
• Selection Period: October 1-20, 2024
  Eligibility Criteria:
• Artist Profile: Open to emerging artists worldwide, regardless of age, nationality, or
  background.
• Artwork Specifications: We accept 2D (painting, mixed media) and 3D (sculpture,
  installation) works. Maximum dimensions: (5ft x 5ft).
  Submission Guidelines:
  To apply, please submit the following:
• An artist statement (max 300 words)
• A short biography (max 200 words)
• Up to 5 high-resolution images of your artwork
• Descriptions for each artwork including title, medium, size, and year of creation
  All submissions must be made through our online submission portal by September 30, 2024.
  Please ensure all files are in JPEG or PNG format, and that image files do not exceed 5MB
  each.

Promotion and Outreach:
We will promote this open call through social media channels, email newsletters, and art
community forums. Additionally, we are partnering with local galleries, art institutions, and art
schools to reach a broader audience.
Application Process:

Review and Selection:
Submissions will be reviewed by a jury panel of five esteemed art professionals, ensuring a
fair and unbiased selection process. The jury will evaluate submissions based on originality,
relevance to the theme, and overall quality. All reviews will be conducted blind, without
identifying information about the artists.
Notification and Follow-Up:
All applicants will be notified of the jury’s decision by October 20, 2024. Selected artists will
receive detailed participation agreements outlining terms and conditions.
Exhibition Planning:
Selected artworks will be part of the pop-up show set to open on May 9, 2025. We will work
closely with the artists chosen to curate the exhibition and manage all logistics related to the
delivery and display of artworks.
Marketing and Publicity:
We will launch a comprehensive marketing campaign to promote the exhibition, including
social media promotions, press releases, and collaborations with local businesses. The
opening reception will feature artist talks and guided tours to engage the public and provide
additional exposure for the participating artists.
